Meet Your Host

About Aliyah
Aliyah Ameer is the founder and representative of Sisters Through Faith. She is an extroverted, people-first community builder who loves bringing sisters together and creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and included. Aliyah is excited to lead you on this trip, not just as an organizer, but as someone who truly cares about the experience you’ll have spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
Aliyah previously hosted a Sisters Through Faith Umrah trip in August 2025, and that experience strengthened her passion for creating faith-based travel experiences that feel intentional, safe, and memorable. She loves to travel and explore culture through history, food, and community. Having visited Morocco before, she is especially excited to return and share the beauty of the country with you. Her goal is for this trip to feel meaningful and grounding, a chance to connect to your faith, meet sisters you can genuinely bond with, and create memories that stay with you long after you return home.
About Sisters Through Faith (STF)
Sisters Through Faith is a faith-based community initiative created to bring Muslim women together through sisterhood, connection, and shared spiritual growth. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, STF hosts events and gatherings that help sisters build real friendships, feel supported, and strengthen their relationship with Allah in a way that feels uplifting and accessible.
At its heart, Sisters Through Faith is about community and belonging. It creates welcoming spaces where sisters, whether they are new to the city, looking to deepen their deen, or simply searching for like-minded friends, can feel seen and included. Events are designed to encourage meaningful conversation, reflection, and connection, while still feeling warm, fun, and rooted in faith.
Sisters Through Faith is also excited to explore the world together, starting with Morocco. This trip is an extension of STF’s mission to bring sisters together beyond the GTA, experience new places with purpose, and build bonds through shared adventures. It is an opportunity to grow spiritually, connect deeply, and create a sisterhood that continues well beyond the trip.
